Lily: "For Daddy's birthday, we should have a barfay".
Mom: "A Barfay? You mean a parfait? Ice cream?"
Lily: "No! A BARF-AY! When you put lots of food out in the kitchen and everyone eats it."
Mom: "Oh. You mean a buffet. We should have a buffet."
Lily (rolling eyes): "Yes, mama. That's what I said."

Most buffets end up being barftastic so barfey is a great descriptive word. The kid is smart.
